Sunday Salon: So many things
I seem to have spent this week endlessly booking tickets for awesome stuff coming soon to Bristol or somewhere nearby. My diary is now crammed with dates for theatre, comedy, music, author events and other cool stuff. Why does all the awesome bunch up like that?
I shouldn’t complain. I love living somewhere with so much going on that I want to do. Like a Metric gig! Super exciting. And Salman Rushdie! And The Crucible at the Old Vic. And a new Mark Thomas show! Bristol rocks.
But this weekend I am enjoying mooching, eating good food, reading a good book (Us by David Nicholls), watching some great TV (series 1 of Orange is the New Black) and hanging out with friends.
How’s your weekend?
You definitely shouldn’t complain. I’m sooo jealous. I love Metric and to be able to see Rushdie. Whoa. My weekend? Yesterday, I worked at the library and today I’m reading Sunday Salon posts like yours, mowing the lawn later, maybe some reading and some NCIS bingewatching on Netflix.
For a while we were vaguely considering moving to Canada and ease of access to Metric gigs was definitely on the pro list!
I tend to be a home body… so activities such as enjoying mooching, eating good food and reading a good book are right up my ally!
I’m a home body who dreams of being more adventurous!
